Do you know some famous writers inspired Hollywood to convert entire novel into a movie? Yes, you heard it right!
Do you know some famous writers inspired Hollywood to convert entire novel into a movie? Yes, you heard it right!
A writer has a power to create an imagination, a power for a
vision! A writer can bring the change in the world; can change your decision,
your thought process or sometimes can just make you dumbstruck! A writer can
take you in a different world altogether with his/her writing. And then, there
it come a Hollywood movie entirely based on the book. That’s the power of writing!
Books written by these famous authors have made Hollywood
directors to take this bookish imagination further making it real!
When we read these books we fell in love with the writers,
the characters, the story but when Hollywood made movies out of them we fell in
love all over again! So are you ready to see the journey of transformation from
Books to Movies?
The Notebook (2008)

This heart wrenching yet romantic love story that brings
tears in our eyes as the movie progresses is based on the novel written by
Nicholas Sparks (1996). Nicholas Sparks is an incredibly talented American
writer and novelist (one of my favourite authors) has more than eighteen
best-sellers in his credit. His work kept Hollywood factory to busy enough to
make movies after movies based on his novels. I loved reading his novel as well
as this extra-romantic movie!
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the
Wardrobe (2005)

Fantasy is the way to escape from the real world and enter
into imaginary world where all dreamy things happen. The more you read, the
more the novel grasps your attention. Even more when you watch the movie; the
magical cupboard, the talking lion, and that white snowy witch (wicked by
nature and you still fall in love with her)! This super fantasy movie never
bores you out and is based on the novel The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
and The chronicles of Narnia written by C.S. Lewis.
This British novelist is a powerhouse of talents. These two
books were written in 1950 but Hollywood directors had couldn’t sleep and had
pull from the history and present on a grand screen.

This romantic dram film screening flawless beauty of Kate
Winslet and young actor David Kross keep you enthralled till the end of the
movie. The movie is again based on the novel ‘The Reader’ by German law
professor and judge Bernhard Schlink. The novel revolves beautiful love
story growing between an older woman and a younger boy and the second half of
the novel completely change the whole picture questioning how one generation
comes to terms with the crimes of another generation.

Last but not the least, that comes in my list of favourites that enchanted me the amusing style of writing as well as movie is ‘The social
network’.
‘The Social Network’
is based on The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, A Tale of
Sex, Money, Genius, and Betrayal penned by Ben Mezrich (2009). The movie
got its inspiration from the book although the book is not a work of fiction.
Ben Mezrich is an American author best known for his non-fiction work and he
has published several books taking the writing in his own stride.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the post! Take some inspiration from
their work and why not keep writing? You never know when your writing take
sliver path! All the best including me!
